Stump Grinding
We are professionally equipped to do a single, extremely difficult stump or exceptionally large stump (as wide or wider than your car), backyard stumps, or a thousand stumps and everything between.
Grinding involves the use of a stump grinder to reduce the stump below the ground level, effectively removing its visible presence. Physical extraction employs a medium backhoe to excavate the stump along with its large attached roots. This method is typically reserved for commercial projects or situations where the stump obstructs construction activities, as it is costly and can damage the surrounding area it is not something we recommend.
Stump grinding is preferred by 95% of our clients who wish to remove the appearance of a stump. In these instances, we utilize one of our stump grinders to grind the stump down to a depth of approximately eight inches below the ground surface. This ensures the stump is no longer visible and allows for grass or other landscaping to be planted in its place.

Grinding
Grind only is the economical route, (a customer hands-on approach) as we completely grind out the stump ~8" or deeper including removal of all surface roots by either grinding or cutting out. The clean up and restoration can be completed by the customer or anyone you chose, or it can be simply raked level and left as is. This obviously varies depending on location and budget. With this service we generally show up with one person and one truck and trailer/grinder.

Cleanup, Haul Away and Restoration
Full restoration does cost approximately twice the grind only price (customer hands-off approach) includes the same grinding service as above but also includes clean up and removal/haul away of 99% of the chips/debris from the grinding. We also pick up and deliver/place locally screened top soil into the hole, tamp, grade, and re-seed the affected area. When we are done, the area is ready to grow grass and all it needs is water/sun. With this service we generally show up with 2 or 3 trucks, 2-3 people, a dump trailer, and a tracked mini skid and trailer to haul materials, and another truck/trailer with the grinder.
